Arrival at Tirana “Mother Teresa” Airport.
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our agents at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can start with a visit of the capital.
A city of bright colors and nightlife, Tirana is the capital and largest city in the country.
We will walk around the city to discover the historic center built mainly during the dictatorship era, the architecture of this era is still visible today, on all the buildings on the Boulevard of the Martyrs of the Nation. A visit to the National Museum allows you to have a summary of history.

Fierez – Tropojë by local transport: 20 min

You will have an overnight homestay in Tropojë.
At the homestay, we will be sent to different families, a family can contain 5 people maximum and we will also enjoy meals with our host family. Tuttes are provided with towels, mattresses, own toilets, shower, etc.

After leaving the ferry, we will take a local minibus to head towards the village of Tropojë probably the most popular village in Albania, for its historic pass.
Arriving in the village of Tropojë, we will meet our host families.
Authentic Albanian traditions persist over the centuries until today, this region is known for having kept its original character.
Once distributed among the host houses, we will take our picnics to explore the village and eat on the pastures, while exploring the attractions.

Tropojë– Sylbice

This very simple accommodation, a restored traditional Albanian house, can accommodate up to 16 people in two different spaces. Shower, outdoor toilet, hot water available, all mattresses, towels and blankets are provided.

You luggage will be transferred by car to the accommodation in the evening.

Today, we wil start with a 20-minute transfer to begin one of the most beautiful hikes in the Albanian Alps. You will cross the first majestic massif which stands before you the mountain of Shkelzeni, also known as a sacred mountain by the inhabitants of northern Albania.
Today's hike will allow you to see for the first time the massifs of the Albanian Alps, which spread out before you very proudly. We will walk on a ridge where all the flowers and plants are present, to finally reach the border valley with Kosovo. This valley is full of spectacular views, a river of clear water flows.

Dinner and meals will be on site.

Sylbice – Doberdol

Accommodation in Doberdol are shepherds who organize accommodation here during the summer seasons to spend 6 months there during the summer and to accommodate backpackers who cross the peaks of the Balkans. In these accommodations, the sanitary facilities are simple and the bedding are clean and very comfortable, everything is provided such as mattresses, towels and blankets.

Next to the river, which flows through the valley of Sylbice, we will have our breakfast with local products and then head towards the alpine lakes of Gashi, a hidden treasure and still far from visitors to Albania. We will have a picnic here to enjoy the view and descent in the afternoon to the sheepfolds which arrive here in the summer periods.

Then, we will head towards the alpine lakes of Gashi, starting at an elevation of 1500 meters to reach the region of these magical lakes of glacial origin, arriving at Doberdol.

Overnight stay in çerem in a guest room in Cerem.
The accommodation here is a traditional house, one of the few families who stay in this village lives here only 6 months of the year, there is no internet or cell phone networks. The accommodation is organized on the ground with comfortable but shared mattresses, modern showers and toilets with hot water available. There will be traditional cuisine prepared by the family and grandparents, this accommodation can be considered as a homestay, the reception is very friendly.

From the Doberdol lodges, we will head towards one of the most protected ecosystems in all of Albania, it is a protected area and listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The Gashi Valley carries unique values on its ecosystem, the nature here is in its purest state that can be found in the whole of Albania, we are going to hike in a first category forest and its only inhabitants are shepherds.

Departure towards Valbone, we will follow the path which leads to the Valbonne valley and which gives a spectacular view of all the Albanian Alps. It is in the direction of the Kollata pass, on the highest mountain in Montenegro, and we will continue walking towards the Valbona valley. We will have a picnic next to a sheepfold, with a view of the Alps.

Valbone - Fierez - 1 hour
Koman – Tirana 3h

After the last gourmet breakfast in the Alps, we will take a local minibus to head towards Fierez. We will take the boat again to head towards Koman and afterwards to Tirana.
We will have a stopover at the Adriatic Sea.
Afterwards, we will return to Tirana.

Lunch and evening meals will be at the restaurant.
