A tour to the Kir River, Shkoder

Today, we're going to visit the Kir River, but first we're going to make a short stop at Mesi bridge, known as "Ura e Mesit" in Albanian. It is a historic bridge located in Albania, a stone arch bridge built in the 18th century. It is considered one of the most important and beautiful bridges of the Ottoman era in Albania.
Mesi Bridge is located in northern Albania, near the town of Shkodër, in the Shkodër region. It crosses the River Kir in a picturesque natural setting, surrounded by green hills and forests.
This bridge is a remarkable example of Ottoman architecture of the period. It is built of stone and features an elegant design with several pointed arches. The structure of the bridge is well preserved and bears witness to the architectural craftsmanship of the period.

We then head for the Kir river, which flows first south-southwest and then southwest othrough the northern Albanian Alps, entering a distributor of the Drin just below Shkodër.
