After collecting your luggage, you will be welcomed by one of our agents at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you can begin the discovery of Tirana by visiting its many museums: the National Historical Museum tracing the history of Albania or Bunk'art 2, a museum housed in a vast underground bunker, and the House of Leaves, which allows us to understand the history of espionage in Albania during communism. You can also take the time to admire the colorful facades of the city's buildings, testimony to the post-communist era of the early 90s.
You can then stroll through the Shetitorja Murat Toptani district to admire the ramparts of Tirana Castle, the Tanners' Bridge, theEt'hem Bey mosque and the Pazar i Ri bazaar.

In the evening, we advise you to go to the Blloku, which was at the time a place reserved for the political elite and is, today, the trendiest district of Tirana. You will have the opportunity to have a drink there and discover the typical atmosphere of Albanian bars.

This morning, we are heading towards the south and Lake Ohrid. Before reaching the village of Tushemisht, you will cross the Via Egnatia, one of the oldest trade routes of antiquity. Built by the Romans, it was the only road to connect Rome to Constantinople.

Also, you make a stop at the village of Lin, nestled on the shores of the majestic Lake Ohrid. A typical village on the western shore of Lake Ohrid. You will have the opportunity to observe many species of fauna and flora, and take a boat trip around the village in the waters of Lake Ohrid.
Lake Ohrid is one of the oldest lakes in the world (dating back 2/4 million years ago). It is the deepest lake in the Balkans (285 meters). An exceptional natural phenomenon, Lake Ohrid serves as a refuge for many endemic species of fauna (including the Koran, a rare fish similar to trout).

Only 4-5 km south of the city we see Drilon Park and the village of Tushemisht. The waters of the Drilon River form a small lake, surrounded by beautiful vegetation that makes the area and the neighboring village of Tushemisht a unique oasis of beauty and tranquility.

In the afternoon, you will take the road again towards the town of Korça. Located in the southeast of the country and close to the Greek and Macedonian borders, Korça is one of the most important cities in Albania nicknamed “Little Paris”. Set off on foot to explore the city and its Old Bazaar district (Pazari i Vjetër) with its traditional houses, its shaded terraces, its shops, its small streets…

Today, you will discover the town of Korca, a town located in southeastern Albania, near the borders with Greece and North Macedonia.
Korca is known for its traditional architecture, with many stone and wooden houses dating from this period. The city is also famous for its wine and beer production, as well as its annual beer and wine festivals. Korca is also an important cultural center, with many museums, theaters and music and dance festivals.
You will discover the goods of Korca Bazaar. The bazaar has great historical, cultural and artistic value for the city. This is definitely the ideal place to buy souvenirs from Albania. Also, enjoy a coffee in one of the many small cafes that surround the bazaar and observe the rhythm of daily life.

Then, you can visit the National Museum of Medieval Art known for its magnificent collection of icons, and the Museum of Oriental Art "Bratko", this museum presents the life and work of the famous Albanian painter Vangjush Mio.
After the museums you go towards the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Korçe. Learn about the fate of the cathedral and hundreds of religious structures during communism. Inside the cathedral, the walls are decorated with brightly colored paintings depicting various Christian figures.

This morning, you will take the road again towards the town of Permet, nicknamed the “city of roses” and main gateway to the Hotova-Dangëll fir national parks and especially the Vjosa, considered one of the last wild rivers in Europe, the Vjosa has just obtained (in 2023) the status of National Park.
Don't hesitate to stop on the very photogenic wooden footbridges, which locals and shepherds use to cross the beautiful Vjosa (or Aoos in Greek).

The Vjosa River Valley is located in southern Albania and is one of the last free-flowing rivers in Europe. The valley is characterized by wild, mountainous landscapes, dense forests, spectacular gorges, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. It is also known for its exceptional biodiversity, with more than 1,000 species of plants and over 100 species of fish.

The Vjosa River itself is a source of activity for visitors, offering opportunities for rafting, kayaking and fishing. The valley's picturesque villages also offer a glimpse of Albanian rural life, with traditional stone houses, historic churches and mosques.

Permet is also known for making gliko, or candied fruit. This culinary tradition, deeply rooted in the Vjosa River valley, is a key element of the local cuisine of Përmet

Lets- Langarica Canyon, 20 mins, 13.2km

Departure this morning for the Langarica canyon and the famous Benja baths, located about ten kilometers from Permet, in the heart of the Hotova-Dangell pine national park.
Upon your arrival, you will not miss the photogenic stone bridge of Kadi, a magnificent Ottoman building which dominates the Langarica River and marks the entrance to the canyon.
Start your visit with a natural bath in the first hot water pool, the largest of the ten springs, with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
Then set off on an aquatic hike to discover the Langarica canyon. The canyon is located about 200 meters from the thermal springs. We also recommend using shoes made for walking in water or good sandals because the bottom of the river is muddy and it is easy to sink into it.
In the afternoon, another essential activity in the region is rafting for lovers of white water sports. Don't hesitate to book a rafting trip down the Vjosa directly from your hotel. The activity is accessible to everyone, even for beginners.

The age allowed for rafting is over 10 years old, minors must be accompanied.

You will leave for Gjirokastër, nicknamed “the stone city” and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. This city is full of typical neighborhoods and shaded terraces, but above all, houses the ethnographic museum and its fortress, witnesses of a large part of the History of Albania. Birthplace of the great Albanian writer Ismail Kadaré and the former communist dictator Enver Hoxha, you will discover its city center and its hundreds of buildings of Ottoman architecture. We also advise you to take the time to visit its bazaar, a major trading hub in the region.

You will then head towards the magnificent Albanian Riviera to the wild village of Qeparo, located by the sea. Still sheltered from tourist flows, the locality is divided into two parts, the first considered to be the “new village” ( on the coast) and a second the “old village” perched on the heights with a panoramic view. Nestled between two rocky outcrops, Qeparo beach has all the services you need for a successful beach day. You can rent umbrellas and deck chairs and admire the turquoise waters of the bay.

Today you will be heading towards Berat, also known as the "city of a thousand windows", listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most picturesque destinations in Albania. Upon your arrival, you will explore the ancient citadel, one of the most beautiful sites in Albania. Located on the heights of the Mangalem district, the fortress houses the oldest mosque in the country, numerous churches as well as the famous museum dedicated to the painter Onufri. The small streets of the “Kala” district and the museum of the painter Onufri will leave you with some unforgettable memories.
Also not to be missed, the ethnographic museum and the Gorica district located on the left bank of the Osum river and accessible by the two bridges from the city center.
