Visit to the Rozafa fortress in Shkoder

Today, we'll be visiting Rozafa Fortress, a historic hilltop fortress with panoramic views over the city and Lake Shkodra. The interior of the castle houses interesting museums and ruins, which we'll be visiting.
At 133 m above sea level, it dominates the surrounding area. As a fortified center, it is first mentioned in the reign of King Gent. Thanks to its strategic position, it has remain an impregnable stronghold for centuries.
The Rozafa fortress in Shkodër offers a rich history and ancient architecture. We'll explore the historic remains, enjoy the view of the town and Shkodër lake, and discover the legend of Rozafa. This is a cultural and historical excursion close to the center of Shkodër.
