Known for its twelve glacial lakes and dense forests of European beech, silver fir, and various pines, the park is especially beautiful with lakes like the Lake of Flowers, covered in white water lilies in summer.

Reaching the park is challenging; it’s remote, far from major cities and requires hours of driving on small roads. The nearest city is Shkoder, about 4.5 hours away. Nearby Fushë Lurë offers the closest accommodations.
